Always an honour

We’re very lucky as a band to have a number of regular bookings throughout the year, but one of the greatest honours every year is to provide the music for the annual Sheffield Veteran’s Parade. It’s only a short march in the centre of our home city, but is always well attended by current and former servicemen and women as well as representatives from cadet groups from around the city. As it takes place around lunchtime on a Saturday, there’s always a good crowd of onlookers as well, keen to show their support.

The sun came out this year as well, so we were parading in fine weather and the Peace Gardens provided a great venue for the short speeches from the Lord Mayor and other officials.
